period odour and stickiness

When I get my period I notice that there is an increase in odour. I keep myself very clean during my period (I feel gross otherwise) but still get this terrible odour. Is that natural? Also I notice that my periods are very thick and almost....goopy. Is that normal? :$

My period is usually 4 days and ended up having it for 8 and was just about done. But I had sex and had a ejaculate in me. So I took the Plan B pill the next day.
