Can the use of Prometrium stop or delay your period

I have always had regular periods. I am going on vacation and my period is to come while on vacation. My doctor gave me Prometrium 200mg to take on my 28th day of cycle which is today. Will this stop my period from coming next month or will it bring my peiod a week early or late?
