I recently started gildeer birth control on the Sunday of my period and on the second week on a Saturday I took my pill 7 hours late than I usually take it and that night I had sex with my boyfriend but we used protection and the next day I had a brownish discharge. I'm taking the pill on time since the day I have been late and it's been 4 days and I'm still having this discharge, it's as if I'm having my period again. I don't know if it is because I was late on my pill and I want to know when it's going to go away and when is it okay to have unprotected sex even though I was late to take the pill. Please help thanks.
