Irregular menstrual flow

Began period but the flow is very little and darker in color. What can be the reason why the color is so dark and I'm releasing so little of a flow? Can there be a problem that I quickly need to look into? (this is the first time this has happened)

excessive menstral bleeding

Hi, I am 25, I have two children and currently use the patch. About 3 weeks ago, I used Plan B as a percaution b/c the patch fell off. I spotted for 2 days and then my period came. I have been on my period ever since. Is this some reaction to the two hormones or is something wrong?
