Blocked arteries in the neck

My grandpa just found out that the arteries in his neck leading to his brain are blocked. THey were not blocked enough to perfrom surgery yet. I was wondering if there are any causes of the plaque building up faster or slowing it down.

Stabbing pain in top of the head

Hi for a long time now I'm being having a lot of pain in my scalp(top area) is like my scalp is super sensitive I can't even move my hair to one side, the pain is horrible and a couple of month ago ( like 4 to 5) I'm being having sharp stabbing pain around the same area feel like needles in my head...

Numbness in fingers

I went to bed with a nasty headache. When I awoke I felt a differenc in my left hand when attempting to button my shirt (Numbness). An hour or two later I felt a bruise approximately 5 inches on my arm near my palm. By the end of the day the tender area had turned purple.
