i broke my back moler and the cavity and some of the filling are exposed

2 days ago my wisdomtooth started paining alot,so to get relif from the pain i took tablet nise, any how the pain was decreased, but from the next day i feel like the wisdomtooth is itching. Is this an indication of severe infection or the infection is getting cured? pls help!!!!
