Can pneumonia cause Pleurisy?

Hello, folks. My neighbor has been diagnosed pleurisy. I know that she had pneumonia before, so I am wondering whether pneumonia can cause Pleurisy. I would really like to know that. What do you know about this subject? Thanks for all your efforts in replying to my post. It will mean a lot to me.

this all startd because iwas smokeing cron this one day and i snapped i could not breathe my heart was pounding way to fast i panicd to much and now that i stoped smokeing , it happens all over again even thogh i sober

I've been awake every hour with severe hearburn and acid reflux.  At times it feels like i'm having contractions in my chest.  When I try to swallow food when it goes down it hurts in my chest and back.  Does anyone have any idea what causes this.
