32 year old with breathing difficulties

my 32 yr old partner has difficulty breathing for about 6 weeks, when we have intercourse he feels light headed and cant breath it sounds like he has run a marathon, he also feels nausea from time to time and is sweating a lot at night sometimes i have to leave the bed, please help iam worried

Lately I was under great stress at work. I became very nervous and I’ve been experiencing shortness of breath. I feel terrible and I guess that shortness of breath is due to stress. Anyway, I am worried about this. What can be the possible cause?
