Foreskin doesn't retract over the tip of penis. It causes no problems, should i still be worried?

My boyfriend has a beautiful penis and it seemed completely normal. (NOTE - he is uncircumsized)I have recently found out that when a man gets an erection his foreskin should retract over the tip of the penis... this is normal.We has always just assumed he was normal because he has no problems.....
