I have been on a few antibiotics for an enlarged prostate that has caused bleeding during and after urination. Cipro gave me a rash, and bactrim constipated me and caused more prostate problems. Are there any antibiotics that will not contipate you? Thanks, Bob

white blood cell count and blood in urine

I had lab work done and they found a high white blood count in my blood work and traces of blood in my urine test. What could this combination mean. I went in because I have had a lost of appetite and I had abdominal pain just mid stomach to lower mid.

Green Light prostate surgery

I had the green light laser TURP yesterday (Mar 31, 2010). Out patient surgery...in by 5am out by noon. Went home with a cathetor for overnight. Had some nasuea on he way home and after arriving home probably due to eating too soon after surgery. Threw up what I had eaten and felt much better....

My Dad is going to have a TURP done soon. He lives alone. this is going to be done as outpatient surgery. He can get a ride to and from. I am wondering if he will need somebody to stay w/him for a few days after or will he be pretty mobile?
