diagnosed with chronic bacterial prostate, how can I know will antibiotics be successful

Hi I have been diagnosed with chronic bacterial prostate, Dr. Said I need to take 6 week ciprofloxacin , do I need to do further tests to make sure the Antibiotic will not face resistance from the bacteria?

prostatitis and pain in left side moves around 3wks+

prostate massage will do nothing to prostate problem or reduce risks of prostate cancer or enlargement or infection, according to 99% of urologists in USA, including my BF's urologist.
