Bleeding after period is over

My period ended about 3 days ago and it was normal. I just went to the bathroom and am bleeding again. I was just wondering what could cause this as I've never had problems with a period before. I will also let you know that I am not on birth control cause we are trying to get pregnant.

I had went to the doctors because i had little bumps and she told me they were sisits so she gave me a topical ointment but they still keep coming back could it be she misdiagnosed me? And also i had little cuts that i get after i have intercourse and she said it was just irratation
