severe cracking of the heels

On the bottoms of both feet there is severe cracking of the heels and the callus area of both big toes. I'm diabetic type 1 so is the diabetis causing this? I do use a crack cream that is over the counter but is there another medication that could relieve this from occurring? Thanks.

Moles on my body
