skin dies on hands during fall-winter

im not worried about this but during the fall-winter time my skin dies on the palms of my hand. It gets so bad that my hands get raw sometimes and ive always wondered why this happens, im sure it has something to do with the cold and different weather but really, i have no clue.

swollen face and sores on the right side of his face
