Cervical Wrapping Procedure

What is nerve wrapping procedure at the cervical spine level? I'm Having problems, post cervical surgery, and the doctor discussed wrapping nerve procedure. I haven't heard of it, but would like other opinions from whomever can explain this procedure ?
