Pain in the left lower back

Occaisionally, I will have pain in my left lower back from lifting heavy objects. Later, it seems like it causes my stomach to become upset. It can last that way for several hours, until I get a severe case of diarrhea. I wondered if it was perhaps related to gall bladder problems.
