Torsion smaller testicle

I experienced torsion on my left testicles and had to undergo surgery when i was 14 years old. I am 26 now and my left testicle is 2-3 cm smaller and slightly painful when handled compared to my right testicle. Is this normal? Is this the result of the torsion of my left testicle?
