I've had an ache in my left testicle for a few days now but today when i relaxed the muscles to urinate the pain became a little more intense, and there is a lingering dull pain after urination... i've read that changing from boxers to tighty whities may help, could this help me?

ok a long time ago i found a lump on my testicle.it doesnt hurt or anything and most of the time i dont even think about it. when i found it i decided to wait it out and maybe itll go away.well it hasnt yet but nothing else has happend and i feel fine what should i do?
