I had my thyroid removed about 10 years ago and I have always been on synthroid. As of the last year my family doctor ordered blood work and it showed my thyroid level is normal. How can that be? Since I have been off the medications for thyroid I feel sluggish and general feeling of tiredness....

blood tests needed after thryoidectomy

I am 25 wks pregnant with my 6th baby. I saw an endocrinolgist today who said that I don't need a TSH but a T4 test. All my other endocrinologists have told me the opposite. Please help me because I am worried about lowering my L thryoxine. My TSH was 1.1 and T4 was 210.
