I had my tonsils removed 7 days ago and now it burns when I try to take my pain meds even when I try ice cream. it burns and stings so bad that I won't to cry. as anyone experienced the Same thing and If so what helped you all.

I'm 18 and keep getting tonsilitis mostly every month and I'm scared wether to get them removed or what some say you'll have worse sore throats after or your infection will travel down your throat or it'll go away permanently. What should I do?I'm so tired of this it drains me I can't even talk.
