In the past year, i have had--on four occasions--swollen, sore tonsils. At first there are white spots, they disappear and the tonsils are red and enlarged. Hello I am 26 years old and on day six of recovery. I have noticed this strange mass beside my uvula that really hurts when I swallow. Could that be left over tonsils? Going to see my doctor for a follow up on the 20th but any one else go this and have something similar happen?
