After Tonsillsectomy I have noticed a hole in my throat!!

Hi, I had surgery to remove my tonsils 8 days ago and have noticed a strange hole on the right side of my throat which seems to still be attached to my Uvula...... Is this normal or not, please help!! Many Thanks Zoe

im on day 8 now, and the pain is slowly calming down, and i can finally talk without it hurting now, day 1,2,3, were not that bad, i ate a full meal, day 4,5,6, were the worst, the ear ache was sooo painful, and the bad breath was disgusting... i still find it painful to eat, so im sticking with...
