Sudden Pain behind rib cage on the bottom left side

My girlfriend is having sudden pains near the bottom of her rib cage on her left side. Sometimes she doubles over from the pain. It's been about 30 hours of it. She says it doesn't seem like a muscle pain. Any ideas?

lower right rib pain due to dragon boat training

due to massive dragon boat training, my lower right rib was hurt very badly, i went to radiologist for X-RAY, doctors finding is no problem on my ribs, every time i bring up my right foot,  feel pain on my right lower rib.

My stomach hurt during night time and during the day I am fine.  I have consulted my family doctor on different occasions and he does not think there is any thing serious.  As I get older, it started to be more troublesome. Any suggestions!!!

2 weeks of abdominal pain after drinking

I went drinking with some friends two weeks ago and had not too many drinks (maybe 5 beers).  I ended up vomiting multiple times that night.  The next day, I had what I *thought* was the worst hangover i've ever had, but strangely the symptoms didn't go away for a while (mostly stomach pain)....
