Antianxiety Drugs (Sedatives)

Antianxiety drugs depress the central nervous system and suppress anxiety, sleepiness and relax muscles. They are also called downers or minor tranquilizers. When abused, many of these drugs can lead to unconsciousness and death. Sedatives include: barbiturates, benzodiazepines, carisoprodol, glutethimide, ketamine (Ketaset®), opioids, opium, and zopiclone. Talk about all antianxiety drugs on this forum.

Injectable Valium?

My son keeps in his room something that I think might be injectable Valium. I found this last week when I was cleaning his room. There is no chance that he got this from a doctor and that is why I am concerned that much. Is this thing dangerous? Is it the same Valium as the one in the pills?
