can I use valerian instead of xanax?

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with valerian root as they were trying to come off xanax. I know xanax can cause dependancy and wanted to try to get off it using the natural route. Any suggestions?

Hi, I used Trazodone for 6 years (around 25 to 75 mg). It really helpped me sleep.  I got healthy because I had energy to excerise and eat right. Dry mouth from Lexapro
