After taking plan b my gf seemed to have a period about a week later (2 weeks before schedule) for about 3 days. now she is having another one which is right about on her schedule...is this how this is is supposed to work? this would seem to be 2 periods in one cycle

I am getting my period while still on Nuvaring (same hormones as the pill, but in the form of a vaginally inserted ring). I reeeeeally donìt want my period this week - it is the only time for months that I get to see my boyfriend. I started the ring 2 weeks ago, directly off 9 days on the pill....
