I need a good reliable contraceptive

I was taking Yaz for about 4 months. I gained so much weight and my breasts got so big. I stopped taking it. My boyfriend and I do use condoms everytime, but I would like something that is very reliable but doesnt cause weight gain and pain. I have thought about mirena. Any advice???

stopping pill, cramping and back ache

Dr. told me to stop taking birth control pill and now I'm cramping, back ache and dark brown spotting is occuring. Is this normal when you stop taking the pill. I had my cycle was normal then start pill again was already on 5th day when was told to stop taking them. %-)
