ANyone been put an air cast instead of a regular one?

Hello, folks. My friend sprained his ankle. It was a serious injury and he is a candidate for the cast. However, doctor suggested him to try with air cast instead of a regular cast. I have never heard about this, so I would like to hear something more about this. Has anyone even tried it?

Little Toe Pain

My little toe on right foot hurts and I cant seem to relieve the pain by separating it from the other toes via bandages. It seems to be turned outward and really hurts after work.
