What kind of distortions are there?

I am 27 years old and I am in the bed now, waiting for my ankle to get better. I have suffered a distortion with torn ligaments and I have to be patient now and wait for the recovery to be complete, which will take at least two weeks. So, can you tell me what other kind of distortions are there?
