I am a 48 year old man, who found out he has osteoporosis after struggling with various symptoms for many months. Of course I was surprised, because I know this is a condition that normally strikes elderly women and not middle aged men, but I am glad to know that treatment is still possible at this stage. I am going to be starting bisphosphonates urgently. Can someone inform me about the side effects of bisphosphonates?
