Pressure Under Sternum

I am an avid runner and fell forward on the ice and snow 4 days ago, on a daily run. Ever since, I have experienced an acute pressure underneath my sternum. I can't figure out what is causing this pain. I have continued to run, but it does feel uncomfortable and tight.

Degenerative bone disease and sleep positions

I have degenerative bone disease and I am now in another flare-up and am missing work. I will have an MRI tommorrow. THe pain seems worse at night, what is the best position to sleep in? It hurts worse on my side and I have heard that you shouldn't sleep on your back. Thanks for any advice
