I have hd numerous MRI's for back problems. Every one states "there is a heterogeneous appearance to marrow, felt to represent a mixture of red and yellow marrow. The vertebral bodies are of normal stature and there is a normal alignment. The conus medullaris appears normal.
I had a bone marrow biopsy looking or myaloma but it was negative. Also many blood tests. I have Sjogrens disease and it has been suggested that inflamation is my problem. All blood work has been normal except the Immunoglobulin G which is 2188 - normal 694-1618. The oncologist said he has never seen bone marrow like this nor has my primary doc.
Do I have a problem???
