Heterotopic ossification after hip surgery

Developed HO (the growth of bone in the soft tissues) after total hip replacement. Have been in almost constant pain for 5 months. They now tell me I need another surgery to remove the bone. Has anyone else had this problem? Does the surgery work and will it make the pain go away?

I have arthritis in one side of my knee and have a meniscus tear. Keyhole surgery is recommended

Hi I have arthritis in one side of my knee and have a meniscus tear. Am due. To have key hole surgery to repair tear. Surgeon going to do micro fractures to. Since heard the healing is very time consuming doesn't work etc. Any advice welcome.

No feeling yet in toes after hammertoe surgery

I had hammertoe and bunion surgery 4 weeks ago, I am still experiencing no feeling in my 2,3,4 toes that had the pins in. Will this come back and if so how long? Still swollen at times but thats normal I do know that.
