Early response critical to rheumatoid arthritis treatment?

Answered by a doctor

My mother has been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. Doctor is deciding what kind of treatment she will get. I have heard that early response to rheumatoid arthritis treatment is critical. Will this decide the course of her disease? I am not a medical expert, so I don’t know much about RA.

When I pluck for too long, or simply wag the finger in the air, it feels as if there is a clamp squeezing right on one side of the middle knuckle. Further, when I wag...

Hello, there. My aunt suffers from rheumatoid arthritis and she takes her medications regularly. However, I know these are strong meds. Could these drugs cause hepatitis? I am afraid she might get a serious liver damage and I am really worried. I hope someone could give me more info on this.

Answered by a doctor

I am going to the hospital with my mother next week, because she needs an MRI scan. I have understood that they will give her dyes to consume orally, to make the MRI scan clearer for the medical professionals involved in the MRI scan. My question is if the dyes used in MRI have any side effects?
