The quality of life of COPD sufferers decreases with time and quitting smoking is a must in order to improve the odds. signs of nearing death with COPD

I have had COPD for ten years.  What is my life expectancy?  I have become unable to do any physical things and fall asleep if I amm still for any lenggth of time.  I am concerned if this will improve and if not, how will  I know the signs of immenent death?
