post-op gall bladder surgery

I had my galll bladder removed four days ago using lapriscopic surgery. In addition to pain in my right side, my bladder no longer urges me to go to the bathroom. I don't have incontinence and can empty my bladder, but I never feel full. Is the pain and bladder problems part of a normal recovery?

I'm having surgery!

I'm having surgery in about 5 hours to have my gall bladder removed, due to gall stones. To be honest I'm really scared and most of these posts have just got me more scared :-( I'm just hoping everything goes well. I've gained alot of weight too, don't wanna gain anymore. I'm hoping to lose it!

I had my gall bladder removed two years ago and have not felt well since. symptoms of nausea abdomen tenderness chest pain ending with admission to acute hospitals with changes to my ECG. on discharge i was told it was viral . Any advice ?
