Hi, I am a guy 55 years old, and I heard that you can cut the risk of heart disease with the use of drug called Niaspan. I don’t know anything about this drug, so if anybody knows something about it, please post here. Maybe some personal experience?

My friend experienced mild chest discomfort after running. He runs with local triathlon club every day. I don’t know if it is because of his age (43) or sudden start with diet and exercising, but I am afraid of possible heart attack. What are the signs of heart attack?

Yesterday afternoon I felt racing heartbeat and I was very afraid, because I was still, I just watched TV. My pulse was fast. The only drugs I am using are contraceptive pills, so ‘I don’t think that could cause it. What could be a reason? I didn’t have any stress yesterday.
