Hi, I was wondering if anyone could tell me some of the early symptoms of hip dysplasia. I’ve noticed difficulty in his rising from a sitting position. My puppy is only 6 months old, we went on a control but since he is so young it didn’t cross my mind to ask about hips.

Swelling from Fall won't go down

3weeks ago I slipped on the ice and fell flat on my back causing severe swelling the size of a dinner plate that protrudes out about 2 inches. Icing has not helped decrease the swelling and I don't know what else to do. There is some pain as well that is like a burning sensation. What can I do?
