Can you tell me if one kidney is better than the other?

I had my right kidney removed 2 and one half years ago. I just heard someone say that the right kidney had more functions than the left. I have never heard of this before. Can you tell me if one kidney is better than the other?

stent into my kidney because of hydronephrosis?

Hello! I have hydronephrosis which is caused because of kidney stones. My doctor told me that surgery will be best solution, so, I have accepted that. I have been to the hospital for extream pains in my liver area, they sent ne home for they couldnt find anything wrong, i am in much more pain than at the hospital, I don't know what to do :S
