Rectal bleeding after use of magnesium hydroxide

I am having problems with often constipations. I do not defecate sometimes for five days and that is a problem for me. I have tried with some laxatives, but with no effect. I am using magnesium hydroxide now and it helps with defecation. Is rectal bleeding after use of magnesium hydroxide possible?
