Is there a cure for smegma?

my friend has (smegma) which is a white substance that forms under his forskin, he is not circumcise. He would like to know if there is a known cure for it? He cleans it everyday, yet it still appears from time to time. If there is some other way to deal with (smegma) please let me know.
