Period 4 wks late, 4 negative HPTs, nauseous, emotional - perimenopause?

I am 44 yrs old and my period is 4 wks late. I've had 4 negative HPTs, but I still feel nauseous, emotional and exhausted. Could this be perimenopause? :'(
