symptoms of menapause?

I am 48, have had regular periods until this month. I am 7 days late, and for the last week, felt like I am going to "start" any minute. The usual tired feeling, backache, and cramps, but I haven't even spotted. I hope it's just the beginning of the change. Anyone else experienced this?

WHAT THE DOCTORS DONT TELL YOU

HRT stops you having all the symptoms of the menopause but what some doctors dont tell you after the 5yrs you have to come off them then you will go through the menopause your only prolonging it whislt your taking HRT :'(
