my period last for a extended amount of time

Am I having a misscarriage?

I had unprotected sex 15 days ago and Thought I had my period today as I was due.but its very light and also leaves a brown sticky discharge. I've also noticed a few small sticky blood clots, could this mean it's a misscarriage? I've had major cramping also.
