Sjogren's syndrome advanced to muscle deterioration levels?

My friend is diagnosed with Sjögren's syndrome. I know it mostly affect exocrine glands, but I would like to know if it can affect muscles. Can this syndrome advance to muscle deterioration levels? I am interested in this complication, so I would be grateful to everyone who replies to my post.

severe burn feeling on back, weak feeling, shaking/shivering hand

I feel very high temperature over my back especially when leaning on back or sleeping on my back. Also, I can feel my hands and muscles are shaking or shivering. What may be cause ?
