I have been on Methadone for 3yrs now for chronic pain. It just isn't working anymore. I was on 60mgs and now I'm on 20mgs. I just can't see myself going back up to where I was, which didn't help, or going even higher. I don't like it!!! Can I change to Oxycontin without withdrawal? I'm sure...

A family member is suffering from a blood disorder and Parkinson's for quite some time. He also suffers from osteoporosis (sp?) and is in severe pain. Family members decided since he was bed ridden and no longer knows what is going on around him that it was time to stop the blood transfusions....
