Can stroke occure as result of carotid artery narrowing?

I heard that when carotid artery narrow, it can be very dangerous, and it can cause stroke. Is it true? Please, somebody tell me can stroke occur as result of carotid artery narrowing? I’m worried because my good friend has this kind of problem. Do I really need to worry? Thanks!

twitching in the chin and numbness

Numb lips and throat with headache and vision problems

My girlfriend went to the gym yesterday but couldn't finish her workout due to the fact that she developed a headache and numbness in her lips and throat. She also says she experienced problems with her peripheral vision in her left eye. Anyone have any ideas what this could be?

Hi, I had symptoms of a stroke, headache-memory loss- eye problem and saw aspecialist who sent me for an mri. I came back negative, great news? I still have all the same symptoms. Does anyone have advise?
