receeding gums

I am having an impression that the gums at my front teeth are receding. My teeth look longer and are not so pleasant to look at anymore. Can you tell me what causes gums to recede and can this be fixed? Thx

sweet taste in mouth

 I am having periods where very often i get a sweet taste in my mouth for no reason at all. Is there someone else with this problem?  I have told my Dr. but he said he hadn't heard this before!!!  Help

about my chapped dark swollen lips

What could be the reason for my lips to be swollen and dark with patches on it during the whole year...no matter what is the season my lips are the same....I try to remove dead skin every morning....it comes back in no time....so what could be the reason other than smoking .?!!..

my tongue hurts

The right side of my tongue hurts but I have no spots or anything on my tongue and I don't know what to do,i can't eat,talk,spit or swallow. When i talk and my right side of my tongue rubs agianst my teeth it hurts.When i chew it hurts,if i try to swallow it hurts,and when i spit it hurts :$

Swelling of bottom right lip

I woke up around 3 last night with my bottom right lip twice its normal size. When I woke up the next day to go to school it was still there, but bigger. It is on the inside of my lip, and if you touch it for the inside(not outside) it feels like little balls are there. Minor pain, but discomfort....

disorder resulting from the absence of catalase activity?

I know that there is a disorder that results from the absence catalase activity and there is no know treatment that is really effective, though this disease can be managed with medication. Can anyone remember the name of the disease and can you tell me more about it if you have the info?

blisters in mouth

since i was 15 i stated getting some kind of blisters in my mouth. I am 23 now these symptoms i et about every 6 months. They really hurt as much to say that drinking water hurts sometimes i get them on the right side and other times on the left. If someone know what you call these symptoms please...

herbs for gums

Judging by the bleeding that sometimes happens when I brush my teeth, I am suspecting that I have some gum problems that need solving. If I tell my dentist, I am afraid he will push for a whole host of interventions. Do you think I could cure my bleeding gums with herbs for gums?
