Scab won't heal after 5 months, I don't know what it is?

At first it was a regular scab. I started picking at it and now there is a small bump. It's hard, and it's the same color or a shade lighter than my skintone (scab is not dark). I feel like the skin grew over the scab. I want to get rid of it, but I don't know how. Does anyone know what this is?

I had a mole raised about a cm and 2cm across on my face and i fell and hit my chin on a peice of metal and the whole area got sliced off. Went to the doctor and got skin grafts or something.... Is there a chance of cancer or it growing back or something?
