Printer not printing color problem

Can i leave the airport while waiting for the next flight?

If I flew from Chicago to Heathrow and had a layover in London for 12 hours before heading to Johannesburg, could I leave the airport? General consensus in our missions group is no because we wouldn't get cleared again. I think their thinking is flawed. Besides, I wanna take the chunnel!
